Being progressively built until 2019, the Trail showcases the spectacular natural and cultural landscapes of the Grampians National Park. The first stage of the Grampians Peaks Trail has been open for a year now. The three-day loop near Halls Gap has proved popular with a wide range of visitors. Walkers are making the most of the flexibility of the Trail, with some completing the full three days and others preferring to stay one night and walk a two-day section of the track. The second stage of the Grampians Peaks Trail is now underway. The popular Piccaninny Walk in the southern end of the Grampians near Dunkeld is currently being upgraded and refreshed.
